It’s nice to meet you!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I am Elley and I am the artist behind everything you will find here. What a blessing it is to be able to have my hobby enjoyed by so many other people. I hope that as you get to know me, my art takes on a new life in your eyes.

Ever since I was a young girl, I loved to create anything and everything my mind would come up with. Needless to say, nothing much has changed. I took many an art class growing up and when I was in high school I tried out for cheerleading. Mainly to paint the game day banners (because let’s be real. I’m no athlete and I sure had no business or talent to be on the squad). Soon enough it’s time for college, and you guessed it, I got a degree in art. But if you want to get into specifics I switched my major a few times when I transferred into Abilene Christian University my sophomore year. I went from pursuing just a degree in overarching art, to specifically painting and then to sculpture. Long story short, school is not my thing and I needed to graduate ASAP. To do that, I needed to change my degree plan last minute to interdisciplinary studies which allowed me to graduate sooner than later. And VIOA-LA! I was outta there! Even though school was never easy for me I still got involved, made incredible friends, and met my wonderful Husband.

Fast forward to now. I married the love of my life on June 16, 2018 and our life has been moving non stop since. During the first year of our marriage we moved from Texas to Alabama, Aaron started medical school, I work from home and began to take my art business to the next level, and got the most precious puppy ever. This was not how we pictured our first few years of marriage looking like. But we wouldn’t have it any other way. The challenges that come with moving states away and getting through medical school, have made our relationship so strong and open our eyes to realizing how much we depend on God. He is the only reason anything we do can be accomplished. So here I am. An artist supporting her super smart husband through medical school. Haha! God sure has a sense of humor.

All of this to say, welcome again to my little corner of the internet. I hope you continue to follow me and our adventures as time goes on.
